Bowling Tracker does not collect, transmit, or receive your data on the developer's servers. All roster and scoring data stays on your device or in your personal iCloud account. There are no analytics, tracking, or advertising features in the App.
Rosters, match scores, telemetry, and settings are stored locally using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to share it (see below).
If you enable Live Match Scoring or coach-to-coach match sharing, the App uses Apple's CloudKit to sync data through your iCloud account. This data is stored in Apple's iCloud infrastructure under your Apple ID and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. The developer of Bowling Tracker cannot access this data.
The App allows you to share data with other users by generating QR codes, iCloud share links, exporting files (CSV, JSON, PDF), or publishing to Google Sheets. When you initiate a share, you control who receives the data and where it goes. The developer is not a party to those transfers.
If you use the optional Lane Camera feature, video is processed entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework. No video or images are transmitted off-device or stored by the developer.
If you accept notifications in the parent-mode Live Match Scoring feature, notifications are delivered via Apple Push Notification service triggered by CloudKit. The developer does not send notifications directly.
Purchases are handled by Apple. The developer receives only the anonymized transaction identifier necessary to unlock the purchased feature. No payment information is visible to the developer.
The App is designed for use by high school bowling coaches, who may enter roster information for their student athletes. The developer does not knowingly collect data directly from children under 13. Coaches are responsible for obtaining any consent required by their school, district, or applicable law (e.g., FERPA, COPPA) before entering student data into the App.
Live Match Scoring publishes match data to audiences outside the App.
Bowling Tracker offers optional Live Match Scoring features that share match data as you score:
Published data may include: your team name, the opponent team name(s), the squad name, the tournament name (if applicable), match date, venue/location, oil pattern, roster-pool designation (Boys/Girls), game and series scores, and — where the coach has entered them — the names of players on both teams.
Data sent through the Google Sheets Live Feed is transmitted to Google and stored in your Google account. Google's handling of that data is subject to Google's own terms and privacy policy.
Player-name handling is controlled by the coach.
This policy may be updated. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page will reflect the most recent change.
